Nr. 5: here come the Weber-Fergusons

On Monday we got the keys for our new house! And lucky for us, the weather was nice, so off we trooped to enjoy our new garden. While Ziggy napped under a tree and Emile ran laps up and down the garden path, we just satand relaxed

Hope to be doing this plenty over the next few months.

In the meantime, there is a LOT!!!!!! of work to be done before we are even remotely near to calling this our new home. Watch this space!

The roof is off, the entire house is completely gutted.

Big move...

We bought a new house! This is our new street. Hmm... look familiar?

Yep! We are moving from number 6: to number 5, across the street!
It needs some work, but has a giant garden (for Dutch standards). Here's some pictures, 'before'.

So there you go. It will take a very long time before you get the 'after' photos (Xmas 2009, if we're lucky). Drawings to make, construction to plan, permits to obtain, and then the building, plastering, painting, installing everything... (So if anyone knows the producers of 'extreme home makeover: please send them over!!!). We will try and show some of the progress as we proceed.

Still quite some time to enjoy our beloved little house at number 6, before we make the grand trek across the street!
